Notes

Having worked a charter that had originated from London Euston between Carnforth and Hellifield, 790 and 4472 travelled light engine to Guiseley to be turned. Returning to Hellifield, they then travelled the short distance to Settle Junction and then Settle Station for the 100th anniversary celebrations. The pair remained in the siding at Settle most of the afternoon before returning once again to Hellifield to head the charter back to Carnforth. At this time, operating steam over the full length of the S&C was not permitted due to the overhead wires at Carlisle.
