Jubilee No.45699 'Galatea' passing Cotehill foot crossing. Despite appearances of an early spring day, it was bitterly cold, below freezing and a severe wind chill from a strong easterly wind. I must commend the hardy photographers who headed further into the fells where the snow showers and winds were far more severe.
