With the first working of the newly introduced, Summer season, York - Carlisle 'Dalesman' service, with steam coming on at Hellifield, Jubilee No.45690 'Leander' passes Duncowfold with the outward journey. Recent lineside clearance on the embankment at this location, in only the last week or so, has made this angle much more 'do-able' than it has been for the last few decades. A team of workers were busy cutting back further vegetation on the other side of the road bridge as the train passed. I hope they don't get rid of the the telegraph poles though!Leander at Duncowfold
