Despite so much being unauthentic about this from a livery and coaching stock point of view, I couldn't fail but to be impressed by the splendour of this Stanier 'Jubilee' 45699 'Galatea' in the low autumn sunlight at Duncowfold on the 'Midland Route', heading the return 'Cumbrian Jubilee' charter to Tyseley on Saturday 9th November 2013. Yes, the 21st Century! Within minutes the sun had disappeared for the day behind the incoming dark clouds, and subsequently rain set in. © Gordon Edgar - All rights reserved.
